The ride back to the trail was uneventful, but the hike back up the mountain was tough. I haven’t had a pack this heavy in a LONG time. I made it back to the trail in the midafternoon and only walked a couple of miles before stopping for the night. At the creek where I collected water I met Red Light and she pointed me to some nearby flat spots for me to camp for the night. Her real name is Roxanne, so you figure out how she got her trail name. Soon after I was set up, Pied Piper arrived. I met him back at Kennedy Meadows a couple of days ago. So, not much to report for this day, just the feeling of anxiety with such a long section to traverse. And since I actually hiked miles on the PCT, this resupply is what we call a nearo.
Savior out.
